Annual Landscape Maintenance Plans
Weekly Lawn Service
Lawns are policed for debris, mowed, trimmed and paved
areas blown clean weekly mid-March through
mid-November. Lawns are edged every two weeks or as
needed.
Leaves are removed or mulched into turf during autumn.
During the winter months lawns are policed every two
weeks for debris and fallen limbs and removed
accordingly.
Fertilization Programs
Our "We Grow, You Mow " program is designed to create
a dense healthy turf resistant to disease and insects.
In addition to fertilizer and pesticide applications,
your lawn in aerated and seeded in the fall to
increase turf density.
Charges: billed per application or pro-rated over 12
months when combined with weekly lawn service.
Landscape Bed Weed Control
Mulched areas are policed for invasive weeds and
eliminated physically or via chemical means. In
addition, a pre-emergent herbicide is applied twice
annually to aid in the suppression of undesirable
vegetation.
Shrub and Tree Services
Our year 'round program is designed to provide your
shrubs and ornamental trees the proper nutrition and
preventive measures to safeguard against insects and
disease. In addition, Shrub and Tree customers receive
one annual application of pre-emergent herbicide in
their planting beds to suppress the germination of
broadleaf weeds.
Core Aeration
We are able to provide core aeration at any time of
year. However, most customers opt for aeration during
the fall overseeding time. This provides optimum
seed-to-soil contact and facilitates maximum oxygen
and nutrient uptake.
Dethatching
Thatch is typically not a problem with the cool season
grasses that dominate the Piedmont but an annual
dethatching using a spring-tine dethatcher can help
the turf recover from the winter "doldrums" and
prepare the soil surface for the first spring
fertilization.
